SWEET! Salted Caramel Ice Cream
As part of Ice Cream month, we couldn’t NOT share with you a very easy to make, and oh so tasty recipe for salted caramel ice cream. Reproduced many a time by us, a dessert that you can whip up in two shakes of a monkey’s tail which never fails to reign in the compliments!
Preparation Time: 8 mins, 6 hrs+ to freeze
Serves: 1 litre, seriously easy
Standard can of carnation caramel (397g) or dulce de leche
Half a teaspoon of salt
300ml of double cream
Sparkly sugar sprinkles (for decoration)
Equipment Needed: Wooden spoon, large bowl, whisk
Stir the caramel in a large bowl to loosen it up and whisk in the double cream and salt until the mixture thickens. Add any sprinkles and freeze for at least 6 hours.
