HORSERADISH MONTH: Veggie Juice
Packed full of nutrients and vitamins, as part of ‘Horseradish Month’ (no…really?! Yes… there is a horseradish month), we thought we’d introduce some into this Vegetable Juice recipe to give it a bit of a kick!
Preparation Time: 5 mins (if that!)
Serves: 2 glasses, super easy
3 medium tomatoes, cut into slices
Quarter of a pound of carrots, each cut into small unpeeled pieces
8 celery stalks, sliced into small pieces
I small piece of horseradish, peeled
Half a tsp of salt
2 tsps of lemon juice, keep the lemon wedges, for serving
Worcester Sauce, pepper and tabasco (to taste)
Equipment Needed: Juicer, large bowl, wooden spoon, sieve, jug
In small loads, press the tomatoes, celery, carrots, and horseradish through a juicer into a large bowl. Stir in the Worcester sauce, pepper, tabasco (according to how much you like!), salt and lemon juice. Pour the vegetable mixture through a sieve into a jug. Divide evenly between 2 glasses.
