VITAMIN RICH: Ombre Smoothie
Whether it’s a fruity accompaniment to your breakfast routine or a refreshing afternoon drink, it certainly is smoothie weather! And here’s a colourful spin on the classic smoothie… a two-toned, Ombre Smoothie recipe!
Preparation Time: 20 mins
Serves: 2, easy
1 whole pineapple, peeled, cored and eyes removed, chopped
250g of strawberries
1 ripe mango, peeled, stoned and chopped into chunks
Equipment Needed: Chopping knife, blender, straw
Blend the pineapple, mango, a few ice cubes and water until smooth. Pour into tall glasses.
Blend the strawberries and ice until smooth. Pour on top of the tropical mixture and swirl with a straw.
