Hazelnut Cake Recipe

Just over a week to go until Passover and here is a recipe from our Founder Giorgina, to tickle your tastebuds - Passover-friendly Hazelnut Cake!

Cooking Time: Preparation time 5 mins, cooking time 40 mins

Serves: 6-8, easy!


200g of sugar

200g of chopped hazelnuts

4 egg yolks

4 egg whites

A pinch of salt

Equipment Needed: 2 medium-sized bowls, 2 whisks, wooden spoon, baking tray

Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, hazelnuts and salt.

Beat the egg whites to a peak and fold into the mixture.

Bake at 200 degrees (or gas mark 6) for 40 minutes and voilà.. flour-free Hazelnut Cake!
