HEALTHY BREAKFAST: Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats

Overnight Oats Recipe

As we near the end of January (doesn’t it often feel double the length of the other months?), we reach the end of our January detox. As a lover of porridge and all things ‘oats’, our Marketing Director enjoys the healthiness and simplicity of a no cook Overnight Oats recipe, as well as how delicious it tastes during Winter and throughout the entire year. Here’s our version, adapted from (this site has a number of variations on this recipe!).

Preparation time: 2 mins (!) + overnight

Serves: 1 large portion or 2 smaller ones, ridiculously easy


1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup (heaping) rolled oats

2/3 cup unsweetened milk of choice

1 tbsp chia seeds or ground flax meal

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Honey or maple syrup (as you like it)

3/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries

3 tbsps softened cream cheese

Zest and juice of 1/2 lemon

Handful of mixed chopped nuts (garnish)

Equipment Needed: 1-2 medium sized jars, whisk, medium bowl, large spoon

Whisk together all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Spoon into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Close and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) before eating.
